PF1e had arguably a more powerful form of Fabricate. It cast faster (one minute per 10 cubic feet of material) and only required a Craft check of the appropriate type if the task required tools, at the expense of a smaller area (10 cubic feet per level on plant matter instead of 200 cubic feet flat, and one cubic foot per level rather than 25 flat). I used it to put a roof on a house I built using Wall of Stone, un-crafted the gate of an occupied town into a neatly-stacked pile of boards allowing them to easily rebuild it once we had liberated it, and create some weapons and armor for a militia force out of some scrap metal and fabric we had lying around.

In the game I'm running now the party rogue rescued a baby mimic from goblins that were abusing it and it has become his buddy. The baby mimic (can become a jewelry box) turns into tools, hides his loot, and does other things for the rogue. He found it at level 2 or so, and now they're in epic levels but the mimic is still with him.

Okay. Not saying this happened. But I did find a workaround. The impact and driving force of gases from an asteroid impact has an uplifting force that is GRADUAL enough to not create enough acceleration and ergo friction to cause disintegration on leaving the atmosphere. Increase the range of this arbitrary gas cloud creating a giant geyser from the earth exhausting into space, then the dinosaur is pushed well beyond atmosphere and the range of simply falling back down, with low acceleration. Or acceleration is GRADUAL to get it above the atmosphere, and then another object collides and drags away the dino in space and accelerates it out of earth orbit on its own way out, possibly a part of a meteor shower that brought the asteroid as well or just random. So huge cloud rising off earth, lifting up dino and bones, especially pterodactyl, and letting another rock snag it on the way through our orbit. Then the dino remains travels with the rock forever, aliens get it, clone it, and send it back to earth worse than before. This does suggest a very huge cloud of rising gas all the way to the atmosphere from an asteroid impact for this to work in the first place.

Wait, I don't get the truesight one. Invisibility doesn't inherently give you advantage, nor foes disadvantage. That part simply comes from you seeing someone who doesn't see you. So, when someone is invisible, but you can see them, due to truesight, why would they have advantage, etc? That doesn't make any sense, to me. Edit: Nevermind, I looked it up. I guess the invisibility condition does inherently give you advantage, and that ruling is honestly potentially one of the dumbest things I've heard in a while. I get that it's RAW, but that's the same level RAW as Revivify doing nothing, as you need to target a creature, when corpses are considered objects.

It's technically possible to get into orbit without having to exceed the escape velocity of earth, all it would need is some 3 body interaction that gives the ejected body enough velocity in the right direction to achieve orbit

i remember one of my build ideas was centered around generally disabling enemies. my main idea for combating humanoid enemies who have weapons and items was via disarming said enemies and just picking up their weapons. if they had items like healing potions, pickpocket. use neither? fuck. i really wanna put this into practice at some point but i have no idea how or when id be able to

Ok, but hear me out - that 8km/s is for an orbital trajectory, which is a correct assumption for the requirement that they are still there - however, he then again asks if there ever *have* been dinosaur bones in space. For this question, and orbital velocity is no longer needed, as a sub-orbital trajectory would result in it entering space briefly before falling back to earth. Rockets are easily able to reach sub-orbital velocities in atmosphere without having to worry much at all about atmospheric heating, so I think it should be possible for a dinosaur to reach sub-orbital velocity without burning up in the atmosphere before leaving it. And if that happened, then Dinosaur bones would have been in space, if briefly.
